Ferdinand Theodor Kewitsch, Organist and teacher, living in Liebschau,
Westprussia at least 1852 to 1874. This is in the area of Dirschau
(today Tczew, Poland) close to Danzig.
His wife
Anna Catharina Greifenhagen

Their son

Ferdinand Aloisins (Alois) Kewitsch, born about 1851 in Liebschau, Plumbermaster
married the sister to my great grandmother Sophie Rosenberg:

Auguste Rosenberg, born 8 Mars 1858 in Dirschau, Westprussia as illegetime daughter
to Friederike Goldschmidt born Rosenberg. Auguste died 10 November 1877 after the birth of Lina.
They married 9 November 1874 in Dirschau .

Children to Auguste and Ferdinand Kewitsch:

Simon, born 30 December 1874 in Dirschau
Albert Max, born 10 January 1876 in Dirschau
Lina, born 23 October 1877 in Dirschau

After the deaths of his wife it seems that the Kewitsch disapears from Dirschau.

In the marriage record it says that they all where Jewish. My Auguste and
Sophie Rosenberg, where illegitime child’s to Friederike Rosenberg. She was
Jewish. The father is said to be Christian.  Friederikes first husband
was Abraham Goldschmidt, and they also had a lot of children in Dirschau.

There is also a Auguste Nadolska, born Kewitsch in Dirschau. She works as midwife in Dirschau around 1878 – 1883. No religion mentioned.  fred.zimmakbredband.net
