The Church celebrated its 110th anniversary in June 2009.
It was created as a mission church to help those congregation members who
were unable to worship up the hill at Whiteshill Church during difficult
winter weather. Fanny Holloway of the former famous factory clothing
family gave £1,000 towards its creation in 1899. Seven members of
the dedicated congregation have worshipped at the Church for a total of
