Roger Hall,  unknown  and Cris Yelland playing bridge in the 6th Form Common Room

This is the "partner" to the photo above, rescued from the wall of the 6th Form Common Room. It shows Roger Hall (left) and Geoff Burge forming one half of a doubles table tennis match. I remember that table tennis was very popular that year - even I played, and won - but I don't think the table went with us when we moved to the Common Room over the Main Entrance.

Dave Bradley. The photo was taken in a holiday flat at
Christchurch near Bournemouth, in August 1968. It was late at night, in the
wake of a "pub-crawl" around Christchurch to celebrate re-sit "A"-Level
results, received by post that morning.

Steve Hargreaves, in the wake of the celebratory Christchurch
pub-crawl, August 1968. A game of bridge had broken down, and Steve had
reached the "flicking cards at people" stage...

Taken on the sea-front at Southbourne (Bournemouth) in
August 1968. L-R Graham Child, Steve Hargreaves and Dave Bradley, relaxing
in the sun [even though it doesn't "look" very sunny!], outside their hired
"beach hut".

Only publishable"group" picture from the post-"A"-Level Christchurch pub-crawl aftermath.
L-R Graham Child, Dave Bradley, Steve Hargreaves. Sorry Dave, you look even
worse on the others! But then, it was the night we decided to "explore"
liqueurs, and we did visit 12 pubs...

Steve Hargreaves, probably Summer 1968, in rare serious mood and in Graham
Child's glasses.

Graham Child, in moody mode, probably
some time during 1968

In ?1967 The Parklands/Foxwood Joint Sixth Form Society mounted a Sunday
coach trip to the Dales. The party strolled up and down Penyghent, setting
off from Foxwood Farm. The picture shows part of the group, including Cris
Yelland, Dave Bradley, David Wood,
and Neil Harris from the "1960 intake",
before leaving the Farm.

Extreme left – can’t remember, but definitely in 1961 intake. Second from left, at back, with blue anorak/hood – Probably Andy Millns (1961 intake). [?somebody looking at a map, between Andy Millns and Dave Bradley]. Second from left at front, with suede jacket, roll-neck sweater and sandwich (or cigarettes!) – Cris Yelland (1960 intake). Next on right behind Yelland, with anorak with yellow lining – Dave Bradley (1960 intake). Girl to right of Dave Bradley, "auburn/blonde" hair – probably Jane Bartle (Parklands) [A whole bunch of (5) girlies, four recognizable but whose names I can’t remember]. At the front, munching, Dave Wood (1960 intake). In brown anorak, just left of Farm door – Eileen Blamires (Parklands). [Maybe someone almost totally hidden to (our) right of Eileen in front of the door and behind Irene (see below)]. To (our) right of Eileen, short hair and blue anorak, the former recipient of my unrequited love, Irene Hoyle. [Another bunch of (3) girlies, two recognizable, but names, sadly, forgotten]. Last girl on the right, in front of white bit of wall, Carol(e) [surname forgotten]. Last on the right, looking butch, Neil Harris (pre-moustache) (1960 intake)

After the success of the Penyghent day trip, a splinter group of the Sixth Form Society (and friends) organized a minibus expedition to the Dales. Most
of the participants are seen here, pausing en route from Crina Bottom towards the summit of Ingleborough.

Left to right (and right front)
